Welcome to Reconcile Digest #1. I’m so glad you’re here.

Before academia, I spent years working in mental health; in NHS teams and university services, where the caseloads were heavy and the work was constant. There were moments of real transformation, but also an unshakable feeling that the work was never done.

Our first digest explores mental health practitioners (the carers) and the impact of helping others (the care) on their own mental health.
